Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin has a background in the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations in FOX News. She also covered the 2020 presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations to combat the coronavirus. Kristin travelled frequently, and both with the president and vice president. The reporter even took a top-secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump.
